The Ibanez SR300EB-WK Weathered Black is a four-string bass guitar built to excite through its smooth, fast neck and lightweight body, equipped with perfectly matched electronics. The SR4 neck is crafted from five-piece Maple/Rosewood with a slim easy-to-play profile, overall providing a supreme level of strength and stability and enhanced sustain. The Accu-cast B120 Bridge features extra-wide string slots so that it can accommodate the heaviest gauges. Equipped with PowerSpan Dual Coil pickups, the SR300E produces a stronger signal, and increases the response of the higher frequencies without sacrificing low end. This results in a tone rich in harmonic detail and dynamic expression. Additionally, this bass comes with a Custom Electronics 3-band EQ with a 3-way Power Tap switch for maximum control over a wide variety of professional bass tones. The Tap Mode (single-coil) creates a punchy, dynamic sound with superior articulation, whilst the Series Mode (humbucking) delivers a full, warm tone. The Power Tap Mode offers the best of both by combining the clarity of the single coil with the fat bottom end of the humbucker.
