The Fluke 1503 measures more than just insulation and is known for its durability and simple operation. Insulation Resistance Range: 0.1 MΩ to 2000 MΩ. Test Voltages: Selectable 500 V and 1000 V DC test voltages. Other Measurement Functions: Measures AC/DC voltage from 0.1 V to 600 V and resistance from 0.01 Ω to 20.00 kΩ. It also performs Lo-Ohms earth-bond continuity testing at 200 mA. Safety Features: Live Circuit Detection: Prevents an insulation test from being carried out if a voltage greater than 30 V is detected at the terminals, protecting the user. Auto-Discharge: Automatically discharges capacitive voltage from the circuit after testing, increasing user safety. Safety Rating: Features a CAT IV 600 V overvoltage category rating.
