Face massive tank battalions, nimble I.N.K.T. racers and elite Inky soldiers to free the citizens of Chroma City. Avoid hot plates, electric shocks and ink guns to reach the seemingly impregnable I.N.K.T. fortress. Just always remember that the battle for Chroma City must be on your terms. Change the city to your liking with your own colors, patterns and music tracks. Make your blob super big to destroy powerful enemies. Join forces with the color revolutionaries to improve your skills in spreading chaos. The race to save Chroma City has just begun and only de Blob can save the world from a black and white future. De Blob is a 3D platformer in which you'll take on the role of the unusual hero de Blob. This one is equal parts color blob, breadless artist, revolutionary and youthful troublemaker. His goal in life is to paint over the bleak, gray buildings that the I.N.K.T. Corporation has imposed on Chroma City and its inhabitants, the Raydians. To do this, he has an array of bright, life-giving colors at his disposal - and a whole army of gray-clad Inkies in the way. You'll have to get some color and hurl de Blob at buildings, statues, streets, and even the sky above Chroma City. De Blob will jump around like crazy, coloring everything he comes in contact with, slowly drying up as his paint supply runs low. So you'll have to collect more paint and use puddles as well as fire hydrants that are scattered all over the city. At the beginning of the game, the available colors are limited to red, blue and money, but these can be mixed to create a range of other colors. The ability to mix and apply these colors becomes important when Chroma City and its inhabitants come to life, and de Blob makes the acquaintance of other characters called "color revolutionaries" who give him the tasks in which he distributes his color throughout the city. If you successfully complete these tasks, the story of the game continues and finally ends with a direct attack on Comrade Black's I.N.K.T. fortress, which is guarded by Inky soldiers and massive ink gun turrets.
