Item Description
Casio is an electronics manufacturing company that was founded in 1946 by Tadao Kashio. The brand has a versatile portfolio, from musical instruments and digital cameras to analogue and digital watches. The company rose to popularity quickly after releasing its first-ever product, a cigarette holder, which proved to be a huge success. Casio became involved in electronics in 1954 when they released Japanās first electro-mechnical calculator. During the āQuartz Revolutuionā in the 1970s, Casio expanded and became one of the first brands to create quartz watches which solidified the brand as an innovator in horological society. The brandās timepieces are affordable and long-wearing, making them a favourite to both enthusiasts and everyday people. With the large variety of wristwatches and their commitment to progress, it is no surprise Casio has remained amongst the giants in the industry. G-Shock is a chic subsidiary of Casio with a cult following. The larger-than-life brand image draws customer after customer who wants to get their hands on an iconic piece of design. Not only are their watches extremely distinctive but you get superior protection with trademark shock resistance. A profusion of features, absolute daily reliability and a little bit of attitude all make for an enticing watch. A brand that has been serving us tough, technologically superior timepieces in stylish, chunky cases since 1983. This model follows an all-silver colour scheme. The case is made of glass fibre-reinforced fine resin while the octagonal bezel is forged, cut and polished. The case measures 44.4mm in diameter. Toughened mineral glass protects the silver metallic dual-display dial. Amongst the many functions featured on the watch are alarms, a battery level indicator, a countdown timer, a date and weekday display, a hand shift function, a super LED backlight, a mute function and a stopwatch alongside world time. Once set, an automatic calendar always keeps the correct date. Casioās Patented Hollow Core Guard Structure protects against impact and vibration. The watch is finished with a stainless steel bracelet. Movement Type - Quartz.
